Below are answers to many frequently asked questions.  If your questions are not answered on this page, please feel free to contact us and a rental associate will be happy to assist you.

Will a moonwalk fit in my backyard?

If you have a somewhat flat area about 18' x 18' with no low hanging tree branches, it will fit. We rarely have a problem. We can even set up a moonwalk in your driveway or front yard.

Do I need a generator?

If you have a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet of the setup area, a generator is not needed.

Do you supply an extension cord?

We do not supply any extension cords with any of the customer pick-up's or the deliveries. We supply only the cord that is attached to the blower (approximately 15' long). If we are delivering your item, we expect that you have an extension cord plugged in and ready for the driver when he arrives.

If I have chairs and tables delivered will you set them up for me?

Chairs and tables, in all instances, are driveway-drop off only. We will stack them neatly in your driveway for you to setup at your leisure. This goes for the orders that include a tent as well. If we are setting up a tent for you, the chairs and tables will still be stacked in the driveway. When we return the following day, we expect them to be stacked back in the driveway for pickup.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a $50 deposit on all moonwalks and a larger deposit on more extensive orders. We accept cash, check, or credit card prior to delivery.

How will I know what size tent to order?

We offer a variety of canopy sizes to accommodate your needs. Our staff will calculate the canopy size needed, based on the number of guests that will be attending your event. Ask about our tent packages as well.

How will I know if I can fit a certain tent in the area I have?

First thing that you need to do is measure the area in which you want to put the tent. You must add 10 feet to the dimensions for staking. (This means that if you want a 20’ x 40’ tent then you need an area that is at least 30’ x 50’). This area must be flat with no obstacles in the way such as bushes, fences, rocks, trees, swing sets, pools, patios, decks or any other objects. If your measurements are close to these requirements or if you have a concern then please call us with the measurements and a description of the location, so we can let you know whether or not the tent is going to fit. If the tent is going on a patio or hard surface such as asphalt or cement and can not be staked down, then you will need to get a frame tent.

What's the difference between a frame tent and a pole tent?

A pole tent is held up by tension and requires anywhere from 12-40 stakes. A frame tent requires minimal staking, maybe 4-6 stakes, and is held up by a piped frame. People usually order framed tents when they want their tent in an area where they can't or don’t want to stake. You can use water barrels instead of stakes ONLY on a frame tent. Water barrels can not be used on pole tents. We will not install any tent unless it is staked.

When should I have my lawn cut?

It is extremely difficult to cut your grass after we have installed a tent or moonwalk. Tents have various ropes, stakes, and poles that are secured into the ground throughout the perimeter while moonwalks also have ropes and stakes. Do not wait until the last minute. We recommend you cut your grass 1-2 days before your scheduled delivery to avoid conflict with the setup.

Do I need to be present for you to set up my moonwalk or tent?

As long as you have let us know by phone or in person that you will not be on site during the time of your delivery AND have marked out the spot for your tent/moonwalk, then we have no problem with delivering your order. Moonwalk orders require you to leave out an extension cord that is already plugged in so we can ensure a full setup.

If I pick up, when do I have to return?

All rentals that are picked up on a given day must be returned the following day by the specified time. Any late rentals are subject to a late rental fee.

How many children can jump in the moonwalk at one time?

Generally, a 13' x 13' unit can handle 6 to 8 jumpers and a 15' x 15' unit can handle 8 to 10 jumpers. The size and age of the people using the unit must also be considered.

How much do moonwalks weigh?

Moonwalks are large and generally weigh between 175 to 275 pounds.

How are they powered?

Moonwalks are inflated using an electric blower unit that is powered by a standard 110 volt, three-prong electrical outlet with a GFI. Electricity is needed within 100 feet of the moonwalk. A generator may be used to power the moonwalk if an electrical outlet is unavailable.

Does the moonwalk need to be anchored?

Yes. We use stakes to secure the moonwalk when placed on a lawn and sand bags when placed indoors or on pavement.

What if there is inclement weather on the day of my event?

It is unsafe to operate a moonwalk in the rain. If it begins raining during your event, please have the children leave the moonwalk, turn off the fan, and allow the moonwalk to deflate. Once the rain subsides, turn on the fan to inflate the moonwalk and thoroughly dry the inside before allowing children in to jump. If the weather forecast calls for inclement weather, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your event to cancel or reschedule the rental. Your non-refundable $50 deposit will be held for up to one year and can be put towards any other rental.

If it does rain during the rental period, the moonwalk must be deflated immediately and must be folded in half so that no visible seams are showing. If the moonwalk is saturated and cannot be returned to the store, there is a $100 pickup charge regardless of the location of the rental.
